here are my top 5 albums of 2009. and i am ranking them not in terms of musical and artistic achievement (like shit that should endure in our musical consciousness as a species forever) but just as they meant good music and memorable times personally speaking.

1. WHY? - Eskimo Snow. I’ve been a fan of his a long time. I used to hang around Amoeba Records in Berkeley when I went on Californian skate trips so that I could run into Doseone (when he was doing “Themselves” with Yoni Wolf from WHY?). Really nice guy.
